You can run Traffic Shield on a mac using Parallels or Wine
Will Do I need to change my hosting / hosting provider?
No you do not have to change your hosting provider to use Traffic Shield or the Cloudflare (TM) service.
Traffic Shield sets your account up on the Cloudflare service and Cloudflare then handles your sites dns to route bad traffic etc away from your site. Your site/hosting stays the same.

How can I access cPanel on a site i added to Traffic Shield?
Because Cloudflare bypasses direct connections you need to use http://trafficshield.yourdomain.com:2082 or https://trafficshield.yourdomain.com:2083
to access cPanel (replace yourdomain.com with your domain)
How do i access FTP on a site i added to Traffic Shield?
Because Cloudflare bypasses direct connections if you can not use ftp.yourdomain.com you can use trafficshield.yourdomain.com as your ftp address (replace yourdomain.com with your domain)
Can I use Traffic Shield for customers / other peoples websites?
If you purchased Traffic Shield Security Pack then you can use Traffic Shield on clients / other peoples websites

Can you guarantee my site won't get hacked?
Nobody can guarantee your site won'y get hacked, all we can do is take the best measures to try to prevent it happening in the first place.
How many PC's can i run Traffic Shield on?
You can run Traffic Shield on 1 PC unles you upgaded to the Security Pack then you can run it on 3 PC's
